Upcycle Christmas Runner Up

Well after a bit of a wait, Folksy entrants to the Upcycle competition where told who the winners are.


The judges were:

• Wayne Hemingway MBE, designer with Red or Dead
• Louise Roe, the fashion journalist and ex BBC Clothes Show presenter 
• India Knight  
• Antoni and Alison fashion designers who ran away with rave reviews from this year’s London Fashion Week. “Glamour, sex and Hollywood”.

Best Use of Materials as chosen by Anthony and Alison:

Quote "We liked these story shoes and the fact that they looked like they had been made by pouring glue all over your feet and then stepping into a box of your favourite things – this was a lovely idea…. the fact that you can stick anything onto a pair of shoes and give them a story was a lovely use of all those little things you have always wanted to find a use for…. hope they find a wearer."
